Had this Aqara roller shade driver laying around and thought it would be fun to make a toycar using it. The design is very simple, and the car can only go back and forth. My 2 year old son seems to love it thoug, and since the “motor” is a smarthome product, it can be controlled in many diferent ways. By using the buttons on the car itself, by pairing it to a wireless switch, by smartphone or even by voice command. For doing this you would ether need to use the Aqara-app or as I prefer, via Apple Home and Siri.
I printed all the parts using PLA and with a 0.4 nozzle. The only part that need supports when printing is the roof/hood.
You will also need some screws to attach the “motor” to the bottom frame, and for the outer sidepanels and roof. I used some 3,5mm screws from Biltema (see pic).
Would be cool to see someone make more out of this design.
Enjoy and have fun! :D
