Remix of MediaMan3D's adapter ring to include a built-in spacer to securely fit Amolen 250g spools. This model allows you to use Amolen 250g spools in the Bambu Lab AMS.

You Can Buy Amolen Filament Here:

https://amzn.to/47JqUDE (affiliate link)

How to Use:

Option 1: Download the "Amolen 250g Spool Adapter" file and the “Clips for 250g Spool Adapter for AMS” file. Print one set of 6 clips and 2 Amolen 250g Spool Adapters.

Option 2: If you have already printed MediaMan3D's 140mm adapter ring, but find the Amolen spools are loose in the adapter, download the “3.2mm Ring” file and print 2 pieces, one for each adapter ring.

Assembly:

Place the spool in the adapter and slide in 3 clips to retain the spool. All 3 clips are unique and created this way to snap into place when fully inserted. I added photos, so you can see how two of the clips have a relief cut to allow them to fit near their respective surrounding “pillar” in the ring, while the remaining clip is flat and fits in the slot that has an opening in the ring.

Repeat this for the other side. Note there are 6 clips total, 2 sets of 3 unique clips.

Other Notes

I attached STEP files for the modifications I made. Feel free to edit/remix. You can also drop these STEP files directly into Bambu Studio and print, no need to use the STL file. I find that curved parts come out better when you use the STEP file, especially with Arch fitting enabled in the slicer.
