The “SteamCooler” is here to save the day (or temps)
In combination with the JSAUX transparent back shell and a non destructive thermal mod this cooler actually delivers cooling performance unlike those magnetic attached phone cooler who do little to nothing.
How to coming soon!
YES I thought and tested this setup with a Peltier element but decided not to use it. First off its super inefficient if the cooler for the secondary ( hot side) of the Peltier is not equipped with a big enough heat sink which would add much more weight, there is also the danger of condensation. It is ok as long the decks fan turns fast enough to get rid of it but if you for some reason turned the internal fan down ( like with the plugin "fantastic" from the decky loader store) condensation could kill your deck so NO I do not plan to offer one including a peltier element.

For Maximum cooling performance you need to replace a thermal pad underneath the Aluminum shielding. Check pictures to see where to apply the thermal pads on top of the CPU/GPU and also enlarge the contact area by removing a bit of black foil from the aluminum shielding! CHECK THE VIDEO BELOW!!
I changed the original thermal paste with a Kryonaut Thermal grizzly so that surely does help in addition to this mod! ( this is not a must but will help with better heat transfer)
It all comes down how well the heat can be transferred onto the JSAUX aluminum shell.
You don't want any non thermal conducting material in your chain of heat transfer. Magnetic phone coolers utilizing a magnetic sticker are terrible when it comes to heat conduction ( adding several layers of heat isolation), that's why they are far off of what my design is capable of!

Aluminum foil (you should have that in your kitchen/ or Leaf silver if you wanna go super fancy)
Paperclip
USB A plug + cable for fan power.
Heat shrink tubing.
Battery drill and a 1mm as well a 3mm drill bit
superglue
textile tape ( climbing tape)
4x 8mm M3 screws ( to lock the fan in place after compressing the spring underneath it)
4x 20mm m2screws + nuts
1x 13mm diameter x17mm length spring ( I had one at hand but I guess its kind of hard to source still searching for an easy accessible source) You can use pretty much any spring you can find that has the capability to press the heatsink with “adequate” pressure against the Jsaux s aluminum plate.
ATTENTION! In the video the cooler is applied mid game, that MEANS that the high temps in the beginning of the video are NOT with the cooler on!
