MAK Gun Safe Desiccant Container

Keeping low humidity in a gun safe is important. This little container will help fulfilling that task. Best is to use few dehumidifiers in different places of a safe.

Print out the STL files and glue in four magnets (6 x 3 mm neodymium magnets). Glue the magnets with epoxy or CA glue (so called super-glue).

Fill in the container with a desiccant of your choice (beads of 2 mm or larger). Most popular desiccant is silica gel – which is available as a loose beads in various sizes and colors, also color changing to indicate a necessity to replace or reactivate. Just search for “silica gel loose” on Amazon, eBay, etc.

Easy to print with PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA or similar. No supports needed.
