Overview:

Compact and cute spice rack. It's modular so you can print exactly as much as you need.

Instructions:

Where to get the tubes:

The ones in the photo are 25x100mm. I couldn't find same dimensions online (I bought mine in a local craft store) so if you can't get those I added models for 25x110mm which you can order here (or wherever else, that's just a random shop on Ali Express).
*If the link no longer works when you find this model, search for “Plastic test tube 25x100” (or 25x110)

Print and Assembly:

If you have 10cm tubes use models that end with 10 for 11cm tubes use those which end with 11. Models without a number work for both.

 * 11 cm will work for both, I just personally like when it's more compact =).

All models can be printed without supports!

If you only want one row, than you need to print Bottom_Holders * as much as you need, Bottom_Double_Connectors one less than the amount of holders and also print labels.

  • Put two holders side by side and slide the connector over both slots on the bottom of each holder.
  • Repeat ;).
  • Put labels in place and you are done.

If you wand to add the second row you need to print Left_Stand, Right_Stand, Upper_Holders * as much as you need, Upper_Connectors one less than the amount of holders and also labels. Additionally for each Stand if it's going to be on the side of the bottom row print Bottom_Double_Connector and if it's in the middle print Bottom_Triple_Connector instead.

  • Connect stands to the bottom row the same way as you connected bottom holders together (with Bottom_Double_Connector or Bottom_Triple_Connector).
  • Slide first Upper_Holder into the Right_Stand until it reaches the notch.
  • Slide Upper_Connector onto the other side of Upper_Holder until it reaches the notch.
  • Slide next Upper_Holder onto the other side of the connector.
  • Repeat until you reach the Left_Stand.
  • Bend Left_Stand slightly to insert the last Upper_Holder.
  • Put labels in place and you are done.

*If the second level is too long and starts sagging, replace connector in the middle with Middle_Stand.

*If the tolerances are too tight, you might want to use a little persuasion (e.g. hammer) =)

*Comment if you want me to add some more labels.
