I created a filament spool holder primarily for the P1P. Easy to print in about 40 minutes. I had some bearings lying around, so I used those cheap 608 zz bearings from Amazon. You could also print the provided “bearings” yourself, but the metal ones will be smoother.

I'm using the first version without any screws, so if there's a problem, just let me know.

21.01.23 : Thickened the mounting plate to counteract the flex for heavy 1 kg spools

20.01.23 : Re-uploaded the files with 2 and 3 screw holes, should fit perfectly on the back panel now

There are 3 versions:

  1. Without any screw mounts. You can take any double-sided tape (I used this one, it's quite sticky) and put it on the bottom of the printed body. Attachable basically anywhere, even on the original spool holder.
  2. With 2 screw mounts. Attachable to the original mounting points on the P1P.
  3. With 3 screw mounts. Attachable to the original mounting points on the P1P. Its main use is to screw it somewhere at your workbench. I mounted it inside my printing closet.

Used parts:

Printed without supports and the 0.2 mm standard preset in Bambu Studio. Infill 15%. I tried variable layer height, so the surfaces look way more detailed without any additional printing time added.

Have fun printing :D
