Notes:

I used PLA as the material, but it should not matter what type of material you use. It is important to note that you should use a lot of walls or not forcefully screw it on, otherwise it may snap off. If a screw breaks off inside the action camera, you can heat a flathead screwdriver and melt the plastic just enough to rotate it out of the camera.

How I Designed This ===================

Software

I used Blender and the CAD Sketcher add-on.

I used Bolt Factory (If it would have been available when I designed this I would have probably used this Precision Bolts add-on "") blender add-on to create the threads it screws into.

Designing

I measured where I put the adapter then added a screw on-top and centered it so some of the action cameras weight is put onto the plastic body of the tripod which is why there is no weight alleviation in the design.

I use "https://imagy.app/resize-image-to-500kb" to get the images to the size required in order to upload them.
