Decade Resistor Box

Decade Power Resistor Box using 10 positions thumbwheel or push wheels. The Resistors used are rated at 2 Watts with 1% tolerance. The range is from 1 Ohm to 10 M Ohms with a resolution of 1 Ohm.

It is a two part design, main body and base plate. The body is printed with support, please see the slicer image above regarding the placement of the object.

Notes:

Printed at 230 C nozzle and 70 C bed temperature. Overall print time was under 7 hours and used 67 gms of material.

Post-Printing =============

Remove the support and sand the rough edges. Install the thumbwheel switch and terminal posts, solder the connections and the Decade resistor box is ready to use.
