I love my Voron 2, but when I needed smoother prints I purchased an MSLA resin printer. I was super disappointed to find out that it only supports file upload by USB stick, how lame! Surely we can fix this so I don't have constantly transfer files manually… Enter the smart USB flash drive.
This beauty pretends to be a USB mass storage drive to the device it is plugged into, but has all the other functionality and possibilities of a WiFi connected Raspberry Pi Zero. Send files over FTP or directly using a built in Samba server, easy peasy!
The files for this project include detailed instructions for how to build the setup and get the pi ready to be your personal USB sl.. friend. The case can be printed to take some M2.5 threaded inserts, or to screw directly into the plastic. Can be printed with an FDM or SLA printer.
Have fun with this, it has worked out great for my setup!
