Velbon QB-62 (DIN 4503) Quick Release Plate

I needed an extra quick release plate and this seem to have been discontinued, so I drew up and simplified the one provided for my UT-43D II tripod with QHD-53B ball head. This replacement will fit a range of Velbon tripods (mostly of the Ultrek and Sherpa series). It should also fit other companies' heads in the DIN-4503-2 standard, like Cullmann and some Hama tripods. Designed for a regular ¼” tripod screw which the threaded hole keeps from falling out but still allows to spin freely. Also created a smaller minimalist alternative with only the essential base.

Top plate measures 73x45mm and the mount size is 42x42mm (nominally 44x44mm/1.73x1.73in) with a 30° inclination.

Printing

No support is required. Consider printing in PETG and with extra perimeters for better durability.
