I breadboard Arduino & Rpi projects frequently and needed a way to organize the jumper wires by color. The old rubber band method just wasn't convenient for pulling out one or two jumpers or storing them after they're used. This rack keeps each color in a separate slot. Easy to pull one just by sliding up and to put it back later.
Slot spacing is designed so that the wires don't tangle. Each slot will hold about 30 jumpers. It will accept either round or square end connectors.
I printed in PETG on a Prusa MK3. I didn't use supports and the top spacer bar shows a little “droop” but still printed and functions fine. If that bothers you, by all means add supports. The sliced gcode is for PETG with 0.3mm layer height. Stringing was at a minimum.
UPDATE 1-13-2023:
After using this for a little while it became clear that the slots were too close together to easily pick out an individual jumper color. So version 2 update is also here. It increases the space between slots, and also makes them more rigid. A small fillet was added to reduce the need for supports on other printers.
Any suggestions for the next update are welcome.
