Hamilton Music Stand Central Tension Bracket

This is a replacement part for the Hamilton KB90 music stand. This is the part that applies tension to the telescoping tubes.

The bolt of the original music stand stripped. I replaced it with the knob (at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2058412) and a M6 x 50mm hex cap bolt.

When the replacement stripped (potentially due to a damaged nut) and got stuck, I decided to replace the whole assembly by creating this model.

The model was designed for M6-1.0 hex nuts instead of the original square nuts. The bottom tube is secured using a M6-1.0 x 20mm socket head cap screw, use the original if possible. The top telescoping tube is secured using the above-linked knob with a M6-10.x 50mm hex cap bolt, or your own preference.

Needs supports. I printed with 30% infill. Print in a durable material that can take a bit of tension/compression, like PETG.
