This file for Fusion 360 is a parametric token holder. It allows you to create a token holder in two parts, which can hold a cardboard token with only one side visible. It can be used for any board game with single-sided tokens to which you want to add thickness (e.g. Bullet) or to protect them.
With ten parameters, you can give this token holder the exact dimensions you want. Each parameter has a name that explains its function, and a description that provides details on its use. If you are unsure about a parameter, Fusion 360's section analysis allows you to see in real time exactly what it does to the holder.
Among these parameters lid_ring_gap is a critical one. It is the only one that can take a negative value, and it will determine if your token holder will close properly, and stay in one piece. Its value can hardly be set in advance, because it depends on the settings of your printer and its accuracy. It may take several tries before you find the optimal value.
The default values for these parameters are those I used for a token holder for the Bullet board game tokens (see photo).
For those who are new to Fusion 360, here are the instructions to get the STL files from this parametric model:
I recommend a layer height of 0.2mm.
