Here's one for the ladies, printed in silk pink which gives an almost 'edible' feel to it, although it can work quite well in more pastel colours too.

The shiny effect of the lighter silk colours goes well on a dressing table.

Notes:

The model is quite strong with the body wall at about 4.5mm thick.

The lid can be printed right side up, but will thus require supports for the outer rim. If printed upside down, it is best to use either a textured printbed, or a pristine unmarked printsheet, to avoid the tiniest of marks which could spoil the upper finish.

Brims are suggested for the lid and body as they have large printbed-surface areas.

There are both round and elliptical ball handles to choose from.

I used a very small bead of CA glue around the inside once the underpin was firmly inserted, the handle then being pressed evenly and firmly down into the central hole in the lid and onto the underpin with the line of glue on it - a smooth and steady action is required with CA glue!

To avoid spoiling the finish with traces of CA glue, it's best to use either a very fine applicator tube on the tip of the CA tube, or the head of a pin to gently dab the inside flat surface of the underpin which faces upwards.

Placing a plastic cover sheet over the top of the lid with a hole just big enough can also help avoid catching the top of the lid with glue spots. The gel form of CA glue can help, but the secret is to use as thin a line as possible into the mating corners and surfaces.
