General notes about the model

This is an adapter for mounting a Dayton Audio TT-25 “puck” bass shaker to the back of Heusinkveld Ultimate Plus pedals. It should work on any of the pedals, but I only tried the accelerator and brake. The adapter is designed to make the bass shaker push on the pedal plate as directly as possible.

The shaker assembly does add a bit of weight to the pedals, but I haven't noticed any difference when using the pedals. Note though that I like a heavy accelerator pedal with a strong spring.

Considerations around mounting

If your pedals are very close to each other, you may struggle with clearance between the shakers. Before I took the pictures, I had all 3 pedals mounted in a position that was comfortable for heel-toe for me, and the clearance between the shakers was about 1cm.

My accelerator pedal has about average throw I guess, and there's plenty of room between the shaker assembly and my pedal bits when the pedal is fully pressed. I haven't tested the limits though - you might be able to set up the pedal in a way that will make the shaker assembly collide with the pedal when you try to fully press it. So be careful when mounting, and test the pedal before you push on it with force.

I assume that you have mounted the pedal plate to the pedal in the lowest of the three holes. The uppermost hole should also work, but if you used the center hole, this mount will not fit. Check the picture showing the pedals from the front to see what I mean.

On the adapter's pedal side, the holes in the mount are not totally centered on the mount. The side with the hole closer to the edge is supposed to leave enough room for the nut where you mounted the pedal plate to the pedal. In my case this is down.

For mounting the adapter to your pedal, you need 2 M5 bolts and nuts. I used 30mm long bolts, but 25mm will surely fit as well. 20mm is very likely too short. For mounting the shaker to the adapter, you should be able to use the little screws that come with the shaker.

I suggest that you mount the adapter to the pedal first, and then the bass shaker to the adapter. You can do it the other way round as well, but it will get fiddly.

Printing

The model is printable without supports. I designed it for my ageing CR-10S with a .6mm nozzle and .4mm layer height, which means that it should print just fine on any printer with more standard .4mm nozzle and .2mm layer height as well.

For material I used PLA.
