Ever wonder how many primers you've used or have left on your progressive press? It's often difficult to know when you can't see inside the primer tube.
The stand uses a LM393 sensor and a counter (I used an Arduino with a LCD display) to count the total number of primers you have left (or used) in a particular session.
Included in this release is the stand and several flags with 1mm and 2mm spacers for adjustment. Also included is the Fusion 360 file for the #3 flag. The numbers correspond to the Dillon pin numbering system.
This was created for a Dillon A450 Progressive Press, but could be adapted for other equipment such as the Dillon RL550B or C.
Created with Fusion A360 as part of a larger project. Printed in PLA at 0.2 layer height with 0.4 nozzle. Flags have been painted flat black to reduce the number errors (miscounts) due to the LM393 not being a polarized sensor.
NOTE: The Stand is common with the Round Counter (found here: https://www.printables.com/model/346783-round-counter)
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
