My active dog usually breaks any myzzle in not more than a week. And it is hard to find appropriate size - usually she can`t open her mouth in any muzzle I could buy. Also some of them have poor ventilation, so dog gets hot too soon.
So I decided to make 3d printed model, to make those myself with food safe and very flexible filament. Had to make 10+ versions before it could fit perfectly.
Files description:
muzzle_light - standard version
muzzle_hard - same size, but has thicker walls close to cheeks, where light version breaks often.
vase_test - is a solid block of final shape, so you can test it in vase mod with PLA if this will fit your dog.
SLDPRT files - are the source models for solidworks
Also for complete assembly you will need soft rubber or leather sheet and two rivets for nose support
If you really going to try and print this, and your vase test was successfull - contact me via comments: I will give some advice with supports settings in your slicer.
And please choose safe plastic!
Printer: Dbot
Rafts: No
