This is a set of 12 Pentominoes with a case for storage.  The Pentominoes are made from cubes, a more proper name would be planar pentacubes.  The case is 5x4x3, there are 3940 ways to pack them in that case.  But good luck finding even one!  This is the simplest form of the puzzle.

The case has a replaceable, hinged lid which can be used to create more difficult box-packing problems.  The red lid is standard, there are 3 ways to pack the pieces in (without rotations).  The pink lid has a unique solution (without rotations).  The green, blue, purple, and yellow lids are for experts only.  All of them are solvable, but require multiple piece rotations.  I also include a solid lid with no holes in it.  The case itself has many hexagonal holes to facilitate piece rotations.  The hexagonal holes are sized so that pieces cannot pass through them. To stop the lid from opening during solving, I recommend taping it shut.

Print the 12 pentominoes, the box and (at least) one lid. No supports are needed.

The cube-size is 17.5 mm.  To perform some of the rotations, the pieces need to be this large. The slicer file for the box is tweaked to print quickly on an MK3S, it takes about 3.5 hours.  Don't swap lids often, I am not sure how well the boxes will hold up.
