Since I could not find a suitable AirAssist system for my Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro S2, I constructed one myself.
My laser module LU2-4-SF is 40x40 square, but it has an additional bulge to guide it in Z-axis.
The AirAssist consists of two parts:
1. holder for the nozzle
2. guide for the air hose
As nozzle I use a 3D printer nozzle with 1.0 mm hole (tip 8 mm, thread 5 mm). With this nozzle the airflow aims exactly at the focus of the laser beam.
The original Ortur laser shield is not obstructed and can be used as intended.
As pump I use a pond pump with an air flow of 16l/min. The air hose has a diameter of 4/6 mm (inside/outside).
To ensure that the air hose is well guided, I have partially guided it through the cable chain of the Ortur and constructed an additional cable support.
