Roland Ax-Synth Keytar Modulation Bar

Drew up replacement modulation bar for the keytar. Flimsiest part I've ever seen in a piece of consumer electronics.

Drew up a replacement modulation bar for the Roland Ax-Synth keytar that should also be compatible with the newer Roland Ax-Edge. The part is one of the flimsiest pieces of plastic I've seen in a high-usage section of the instrument, and always snaps and breaks in the same section.

I did an initial test print at very very low infill levels, intending to only do a test fit. Turns out the part was probably strong enough at around 10% infill level (tri-hexagonal) to stay in the instrument. I also had to make a minor adjustment to make two screw holes for a small metal plate that attaches to the inside of the “bar” section of the part to activate the modulation function.

Print vertically so the filament prints perpendicular to the way the part usually snaps and breaks (hopefully increases longevity and strength!)
