After struggling to find any kind of upgrades that can be done on this Monoprice MP10 printer (same as the MALYAN MA10), I designed and created my own V6 Hot-end adaptor. If you own one of these printers, this adaptor lets you KEEP the magnet mounting plate, and add a far better hot-end.

There are two options: Standard, and one with a 2mm indent to hold a strip of three LEDs (just cut 3 from a WS2812B 60/m strip). See the video below for why this makes it even cooler looking :)

The specific Hot-End kit I used (and the only one I can guarantee will fit exactly) can be found here (affiliate link of course):

Print in PETG or ASA (or possibly ABS), using a 0.4mm nozzle, thick walls (1.2mm) and heavy infill (50% or so). You could print it solid if you are able to avoid warping…

Update (Feb. 9, 2023): I've added an adaptor for using your Induction sensor by removing the right-hand cooling fan from the V6 kit, and placing the adaptor in its place. This takes you down to a single cooling fan – but gives you back the auto-bed-leveling feature.

I'm working on a new version of the whole thing, which will include the option of Direct-Drive extruder… but the current version works quite well.

I may later add a version specifically to hold heat-set inserts - for now, just carefully tap M3x12 screws into the rear, and M3x20 to hold the cap portion (counter-sink-style screws are what I designed it for…)

** I should note that this eliminates the “auto bed level” sensor - mine never worked after the first week so I just removed it entirely. Plus now I generally use a glass bed, so it wouldn't work anyway. REMOVE any M420 commands from your start G-code after removing that sensor! (But see update above for a fix on that)

I may update the design to re-incorporate the screw holes for that… somehow… more iterations will happen as I get better with designing :)

I created a video that shows how I came up with the design, a view would be much appreciated:
