Wonderful model. I remixed it a tiny bit, I put both halves together and moved the cut towards the back. Easier to put an LED strip in, and more surface area to glue the pieces together. I used clear PETG because my kiddo said it should have rainbow lights.
By chance do you have the parts without the slots at the tips to connect the pieces with filament? I'd like to attempt sticking the 2 pieces together and printing vertically in vase mode. I think the layer lines might look a little better printed vertically.
@phil_108898 if you print the star vertically it would have 2 legs on the bed. Vase mode would not work because of that. I can see what i can change to make it a vertical print but it will probably need support
Love it!!! Taped an LED string to the inside with remote control. When it flashes it looks awesome!! Well done!
Printed the star vertically with PETG and it was a little warped but glued the halves together with some tape holding it until it dried.
