The two brackets work with a safety stopper, in my case, a frisbee, to protect your ice auger from falling into the ice hole. No worry again! The frisbee can be bought in any big box shop. The cheapest one is fine. You need to drill a hole in the frisbee, about 1 ¼", and insert between the two brackets, then install onto the pole of the ice auger, and tighten with the adapter. My auger is Nordic and they work perfectly.
My settings: PETG, 0.2 mm
