Note:

 

Info:

  • i have remodelled and made a great model from @Meistel Edel (thx!) parametric, so any size can be easily created
  • any width/height 
  • any number of holes
  • the plate is 3mm thick

 

Variations:

  • exported few most common variations for convenient usage
  • see Blender file for other params

 

Print info:

  • 4 perimeters - so almost whole body is made of perimeters
  • brim
    • it is not needed for low hinges, but to be sure, add brim
  • 50% infill (there is not much of it with 4 perimeters)

 

Assembly:

  • ❗❕ on 1st look it may look like impossible to bend, but try to bend it slowly on one side and back, repeatidly and after a while it should work nicely.

 

Parametric design:

  • connectors_count
    • the height of hinge 
    • number of connectors on the right side of the hinge
    • height in cm is always connectors_count-0.5 (so for 5connectors, it will be height 4.5)
  • side_width
    • width of one side of the hinge in cm
  • holes_x
    • number of holes in the width direction
  • holes_y
    • number of holes in the height direction
