Gear knob for Prusa. Two colors with no MMU. I printed a bunch to fine tune the design and test color combos.

Cute and very nice in use.

Couldn’t find how to split the model in Cura, made two more and changed the Z on each to reflect the “two” parts and printed. Took a black Posca marker and colored what I wanted and AC superglued them togeter.
Also, I had to sand it like most of my parts as my first layer line is a little smooshed for adhesion, but it worked out fine.
Still want to see a model where we can print a inner sleeve of clear plastic to send a light through and pressfit all the parts :D

Any way you could make a spilt file? Bottom and Top+Center Ring? Would really love to have the colors shine through and show off the power of 3d printers. A little CA or even pressfit would do it.

@BuzzBazz_1165092 I don't understand the request. Colors shine through just fine.

I would fill the center to easier push the button, but otherwise, this is better than the original

Printed for Prusa Mini - knob seems to stick out too much, probably the socket is quite shallow

Great modification to the printer. It feels and looks great.
I used Prusament Galaxy silver and Galaxy Black PLA (edited)
