This is my design for a modular tripod system to hold your mobile phone while filming or making photos.
Apart from a 3D printer you‘ll need:
M5x20mm screws and nuts
Rubber bands
The main part here is the clamp. Ver1 is slimmer and lighter, but I recommend Ver2 which is more refined and has an extra rubber band in case one fails.
One clamp consists of two parts: The base, where you attach the rest of the parts to via the „connector“. „Male“ is single pronged and „female“ has two. „Vertical“ and „horizontal“ describe the orientation of the clamp. The hook is the moving part and Ver1 fits the Ver1 Base and Ver2 fits all the variants of the Ver2 Base.
The whole project is designed so, that you can design and print your own attachments. I included two examples, a 90deg joint and a small hook that fits my pc-case so I can do top down shots on my table (see pictures).
The legs are 6.7mm thick and the curve has a 10mm radius.
I printed the clamp upright with supports on my ENDER 3. Some parts don‘t require any supports (legs and tripod core) and others need them everywhere.
Everything printed in PLA.
