I was in need of a thin child safety lock that would not interfere with the opening in then top of a drawer. This design is slim enough to fit above most side mounted drawer slides. Each latch consists of 3 parts. A striker to mount to the furniture frame, the latch, and the latch mounting plate.
Slide the latch through the slot in the mounting plate and seat the square base of the latch all the way into the pocket of then mounting plate, then attach to the back of the drawer face.
Print them in the orientation shown in the images above. It should be able to be printed with both a 0.4 and 0.6mm nozzle, but the latching and unlatching will be slightly smoother with the smaller nozzle. 2 or 3 perimeters is recommended.
I have updated this model to R2 based off originally uploading the wrong STL file that created an interference to assemble the two parts.
I would recommended using PETG at a minimum.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
