I made this thing to stop the sharp edge on the top of the acrylic frame from digging in to the moving wire bundle that leads to the printer head on the top of the Anet A8.

The smaller version 1 files should work for most A8's. I uploaded an '...L.stl' file for the left side, and an '...R.stl' file for the right side. Choose whichever side works for your printer configuration.

The larger version 2 files can be used as longer left (2a) or right (2b) side protectors, or you can print both to protect all the way across if needed. The version2 files have interlocking tabs in the middle to keep them lined up; the tabs may need trimming/sanding to fit well depending on the accuracy of your printer.

*Note regarding version 2:

V2 is kind of a WIP... I can't check the fit with the stock LCD installed since I don't have it anymore. I added cutouts for the LCD screws and standoffs, but I'm not 100% sure if they are big enough, or if the PCB might get in the way. If you print V2 and have issues with the fit around the LCD, let me know what adjustments you think are needed. I'll make changes and upload new files to try out.
