Radiator valve cap universal

This is a simple radiator cap design that will fix to most modern radiator valves (not the thermostat end) without the need for a screw thanks to their rubber grommet insert which grips the valve top.

The cap can be printed in any colour, to match your décor, and in most materials although we would suggest PLA would not handle the heat. PETg works great as would ASA, there is no need to go too exotic unless you have your heating set to nuclear.

The washer should be printed in a flexible material such as TPU or you can simply purchase a tap washer of an 8mm ID, 21mm OD & 6mm H. We printed it with 80% infill which was really hard, 50% should be plenty. The washer is an interference fit so will need to be squared up and pushed in firmly taking care not to crack the cap.
