Exactly what I needed.
However now that I look at it, I'm tempted to remix it so that the wires come out of the back instead of "inline"

This is a box I designed as small as possible for an inline switch using a common switch.

this is great, unfortunately it doesn't fit the rocker switch I scavenged. will tweak or grab another.
