Latest Update: Please download the “v2” variants of the case. The original design was done using the Radxa-provided CAD, however, upon receiving my Rock 5B today, the measurements were off. I've made some adjustments to the “v2” version of this case,

  • 10mm gap underneath the board for NVMe + air flow
  • Reduced the space for the IO ports so they now sit flush with the case (exception is the HDMI input & PWR button
  • Ledge for better alignment when snapping the case together

When installing the ROCK 5B into the case, make sure you insert the IO ports in first, especially the 3.5mm jack, then the board should just fall into place onto the plastic inserts.

I designed this based on the CAD provided by Radxa. I do not have the Rock 5 Model B in hand yet, so I, unfortunately, can't test whether or not this fits. The case snaps together from two pieces and doesn't require any screws (in theory).

I'm able to print as-is with PLA on the Bambu Lab X1-Carbon, no support is needed. Although this may vary depending on your printer since there are some overhangs (over IO ports and the notch for the snap-fit)

I'm also very new to 3D modeling, so this is one of my first attempts at making something. Enjoy!

If you print this and already have a Rock 5B on hand, please post some feedback so I can make further adjustments if necessary!
