I am building an adventure van and want a drawer that can be locked shut while driving. It would be ideal if the latch could be disengaged in the same movement as opening the drawer so I never have to remember to latch it.
I have included a template to aid with installation. This video has an example of its use and the drawer pull being mounted.
Slam Latches are not an original idea, but I hope this mostly print in place one moves the concept into additive manufacturing.
Edit: Depending on your printers bridging prowess, some light sanding might be needed to fit the pull into the drawer latch.
