Shulker Box (Minecraft)

This is a Shulker Box from Minecraft, albeit only 75mm cubed rather than 1m cubed =) The dimensions are accurate and the pitch of the thread rises the box accurately too: 50% of the height of the box per revolution, just like in Minecraft.

It is so satisfying to open and close this box!

I've modeled this to be essentially solid when it is closed except for the inner cavity, which is a smooth cylinder, ~53mm in diameter and ~70mm in height. Makes a great gift box for the right recipient and the right gift (money fits nicely inside!)

EDIT: April 2021: I've now added the design files in F3D and STEP formats. These are parametric so, different size Shulker Boxes should be easy to make. Have fun!

Print instructions

I printed them at both 0.1mm and 0.2mm and both come out nice. The 0.1mm opens and closes more smoothly though. =)

No rafts or supports required.
