I simply zipped all my OpenSCAD files related to torque arms for stronger hub-motors. The latest version shown in the picture was lasered from 6 mm V2A steel matching their PLA twin. Feel free to use them.

While there seems to be a myriad of different torque arms on the market I still feel there is need for self designed torque arms in some situations. Be advised to always print the in the original strength you plan them to use.

The most OpenSCAD files will have some lines at the end like this:

//full_torque_arm1 ();

// Enable the line below if you want to generate STL files for 3D printing

linear_extrude(height = 6, center = true, $fn=32) full_torque_arm1();

The upper line provides a 2D object required for export as DXF for cutting with water or laser. The linear_extrude part allows you to print the 2D part as thick as you want.

Edit: I had to add an STL file solely because of Thingiverse input validation. Be shure to grab the full zip package.

Adjusting the models to your needs is fairly simple. Just move around the circles and you see how the torque arm changes its shape. After a while you will find OpenSCAD pretty intuitive.
