The V7+ Dyson's have a more complicated connector on the nozzle side. User Roberto Ferrari found that you can purchase an adapter so you can connect V6 nozzles to the later Vacuums. An example is the LANMU Attachment Adapter Compatible with Dyson V15 V11 V10 V8 V7 V6 Outsize Vacuum Cleaner, Universal Tool Adaptor Convertor.
