This is a 2 piece cover for the Mingda Magician Series printers. It is basically the same size and shape of the original 1 piece cover, however split into 2 pieces - A fixed side held on with the original hardware, and a removeable side on the left held on with magnets and if you want, you can secure it with the 3rd original screw. ( I personally don't). The goal was to have a quick and easy removeable cover to gain access for changing the hot end. The magnet mounting and the open end around the filament makes that possible.
Due to the proximity of the hotend, it is strongly recommended to make from PETG at a minimum. Original samples were made form PLA, and showed enough deformity to me to rule it out as a viable option.
