Not finding a good mount for my Anytone 878 in my Jeep Wrangler JK, I designed an adapter to slip over a VersaMount2 with a pressure fit. So far, it's held up to a couple of trails, but throwing a little glue on there wouldn't hurt things.
Update: There's now a version for metric bolts if you want a more secure fit. Getting the nuts to stay in place is… challenging, but worth it.
It's designed to be a secure, non-permanent mount for the Anytone878 but works with Baofeng radio clips as well. I've not had good luck with FRS radio clips however.
Designed in Fusion360, sliced with Cura, and printed on a Mini 2.
Feel free to remix, ask questions, etc, thanks!
Update: it's been several years since I printed it in PLA+ and it's held up surprisingly well in the heat/freeze cycles we get in Colorado, only a minor amount of warping and still works perfectly.
