A solution for guiding the cords on Roman blinds

These are meant for a 2mm cord and a 15mm dowel

Make the blinds as per the rough outline in the instructables link

Then cut your dowels to the correct length and fix the caps to the ends

The end cap which does not have the 3rd point goes to the bottom

Run the cord through all the end caps and when you pull the cord tight they nest together

This is not a full solution as i had already made the top brackets from wood but hopefully someone can take this idea further
