I designed this to be compact and sturdy. Blade locks in securely both exposed and sheathed. The 3 ribs were added for rigidity and extended above the top face for grip. The top edge locks by sliding the 2 pieces together at a sharp angle as pictured. 2 press snap clips are on either side of the bottom. Cutouts are on either side above the clips so you can use a screwdriver, key or small coin to aid in opening after it is locked closed. I recommend opening and closing a few times to get the clips broken in before inserting a blade as the first couple openings are pretty stiff.
Printed in PLA with a .6 nozzle but a .4 should be fine, what is important is this was designed to be printed at a .15 layer height.
.6mm nozzle, .15 layer height, 2 wall, 4 top/bottom, 30% cubic infill, 15mm/s speed, 25mm/s infill speed. Prints beautifully and averages a little under 1.5 hours with 7 grams of material.
