This is an upgraded model of the feet on the Bambu Lab X1 / X1C / P1P. You can print and replace them or upgrade them when you want to. It also gives some extra clearance for anti-vibration.(V2 / Squash feet models.) These may also work for the P1P …

NOTES:

  • Print in your favorite TPU 95A color…(do not print on TPU greater than 95A)
  • You may use <95A (ie: 86A) but the Infill will vary…(keep that in mind)
  • Infill should be greater than ~10%
  • Depending on the surface where your printer is located, you will need to regulate the infill amount to achieve desired results
  • Remember to print 4 of these :)

UPDATE - MAR 2023:

New “Squiggly” feet

Took some inspiration from the new anti-vibration feet from Bambu Lab for the P1P.
These new “Squiggly” feet will fit the X1 and X1C (and by default the P1P under theory…). They are 20mm tall…

Please, let me know how these new files are working for you :) thanks!

How to print? :
I print these in TPU 95A, OEM Bambu settings, ~15% infill (again this varies depending on your surface…), honeycomb pattern, no supports, Silent mode…

UPDATE - JAN 2023:

Thank you for the feedback…

I fixed the fit… So, the Squash ball feet and the “OEM-like” and “V2” will now work like “drop-in” replacements. (Easy Fit)

By the way , the “squash ball feet” are now tested and work great! ... It is recommended to use the hardest squash ball available or print a TPU ball if you want.
(Use at your own discretion, not my fault if something breaks…)

NOTE: print the squash ball feet in the hardest filament you have (PA-12 ,PC,Kevlar, carbon, pro or plus filaments). Note that SLS/SLA is better since you need a very solid piece…

Please, let me know how these new files are working for you :) thanks!

There are many users who have printed and used the original models which are Bambu Lab spec and fit… So, I have rename them:

“Original-tall-feet-V0” and “Original-version-feet-V0”

IF you have problems with these models you can sand them down a little bit BUT if you still have fit problems there are the new files which are a hair smaller and are made to account for stiff or solid filament:

“Bambu-Feet-V2” and “Bambu-Feet-OEM-like-V1”

As for the Squash feet, so far, people have noted that it does absorb sound, vibration and even some of the ringing and helps print better BUT if you don't have the correct squash balls the X1C will jump a little bit when printing…

So, have fun! :)

UPDATE - DEC 2022:

New  “squash ball” feet…

This model should be printed in ABS+ or PC or PA-12…

I don't like squash balls but if you do, go ahead and give this a try… (Ver. 1.0)

Sadly, I do not have any squash balls around to try these (all stores are out of balls)… This model has the correct shape and fit…So, it is a “work in progress” for now… and there could be some “trial and error”… (at your own discretion)

IF you do print them, let me know if they work ok… Also, I'm not sure how much weight these squash balls can take since the X1 / X1C can get pretty heavy with the AMS on top… (So, not my fault if something breaks…)

Thanks in advanced for the feedback! : )

Notes for squash ball:
* There is no need for supports.
* You want a strong infill such as 50%+ , honeycomb.
* Press fit the squash balls in place before installing the “feet” under the machine.
* A user said they have used TPU to print 40mm balls. Since TPU95A is harder, I would print a 39mm and 39.5mm ball first and try the fit…

As always, the other 2 models “OEM-like” and “V2” work great… so, you can always print those in TPU…

Cheers!
