I recalled my favorite childhood games and made an analogue of table football. In that old version, springs were used to fasten players. I decided that an elastic cord could replace them. Like on real football, I placed the logo on board the court, but you can replace it or add more if you wish.
You can make the shape and other elements of players of different colors (I just replaced the thread on different layers).
You can also print goalkeepers in a different color, and also decide whether there will be more attackers or defenders in teams (look at the photo with goalkeepers and mentally swap teams). In my opinion, if there are a lot of attackers, then scoring goals is too easy.
I believe that the 7mm metal ball from the Prusa kit can serve as the ball. Alas, I do not have it yet and temporarily I used a bead (but because of the holes this does not work very well). However, you can print a ball (7mm or more) from two halves of the ball. Or even use a pearl! I will be glad if someone experiences a game with a metal ball and reports the result.
The project is working, but not perfect yet. I plan more improvements, this is a very recent version, I did everything in the last 2 days and did not have time to fully experience it. There will be file updates and improvements (possibly taking into account reviews).
Patch April 17, 2020
I made simple supports for more field stability. They compensate for possible plastic deformation from shrinkage.
A new version of the box has also been posted (V2). This will reduce printing time and plastic consumption.
Patch April 20, 2020
New improved version of the field. Now the round recesses in it have become deeper, respectively, the ball rolls better, and their surface is smoother. In addition, printing became 5 percent faster, and plastic consumption decreased by 12 percent.
New players (separately and as a team). Files with index V2. The base has increased - this allows you to play with the ball up to 12 mm and improves control. The hole for the cord became closer to the bottom, and the cord became better hidden.
All versions are mutually compatible, but I recommend the latter.
The box should be printed from flexible plastic, for example, SBS, otherwise the playing field cannot be inserted inside the box. In addition, this plastic is pleasant to the touch and safe to hit.
I printed the players and the pad using PLA. It is very desirable to make the rounding smooth when printing the playing field, for this the layers must be made to a minimum height. I used 0.2 for players and the field and 0.3 for the box. I think it's better to take 0.1 or less for the field (after upgrading to version V2, layer 0.2 is sufficient).
Printing all parts without supports. I do not recommend using a skirt (even for players).
You will need about 50-70 cm rubber cord 2mm (it depends on the characteristics of its stretching).
When installing the elastic, it is convenient to use a clothespin or other clip. Much depends on the uniform tension of the elastic cord.
Dimensions of the largest detail - 125x195mm.
