Installing the original z-top parts will result in some clearance between the z-top and the z-rod (2.4mm to be exact).
This could (happened to only one of my printers) cause wobble or vibrations (or rather annoying vibration sounds) as the z-rod can “freely” move/vibrate without the z-top holding it in place.
To work against this problem I extruded the respective face on the z-top model and added an extra 1mm so the z-top will be pressed down onto the z-rod once the screws are tightened.
This simple “mod” got rid of the vibrations I experienced.
