08.01.2023 - small update: upon request, I split the card tray into a smaller version (see ALT_CardTray_small). In case you want to fill the whole box you need to print 6 of those instead the initial 3.
This is my first attempt to create an insert. As there was no complete insert available for Hallertau, I choose this.
The insert is designed to take sleeved cards into account and is designed for the box published by Lookout (in case it matters).
The CardTrays fit sleeved cards. In case you don't sleeve cards, you may need fewer card trays. In case not all 3 card trays are printed, space can be filled with foam or similar material.
For sleeved cards, a total of 3 Card trays are required (the are stored in an angle to fit). Print as many CardTraySpacer as you want for splitting the different cards.
The large resource trays are required to be printed 3 times (see pic) for storing the various resources of the game. They have a small simple handle in the center for easier pull out.
If you want to split the worker cubes and the tools around the table, print the small resource trays twice, otherwise print a forth large resource trays.
The player trays are required to printed four times and contain all the starting materials (see pics). In one of them (most of the time the topper) in addition I store the start player marker. In that way it can be used to randomize starting player.
All the storage boxes are stored in the bottom of the box.
Above the printed storage solution, the rule book and the action board is placed. Above them, the other boards can be stored (see pic). In that way, the box is closed flush and can be even stored vertically without loosing the pieces.
