DIN rail mount for car fuse box

This is an easy method for mounting a big car fuse box onto a DIN rail. I use that in my PV system. Goal was to have a fast printing thing, with low material usage and without complicated mounting mechanisms.

print instructions

• print this 4 times
• PLA is ok, but if you use it in hotter environments (car?) use more heat resistant material (PETg, ASA, ABS)
• 20 % infill
• 3 perimeters
• no supports
• after print, clear the holes with a drill bit from the builtin supports

Installation

• you need 4 M4 Nuts and 4 M4 ~15mm (countersunk) screws 
• push nuts into the hex holes, if needed use a drop of super glue to keep them from falling out. (should be tight enough …)
• screw them under the fuse box
• rotate the bottom pieces sidways, like in the picture
• put fuse box onto the din rail
• use screwdriver to rotate the bottom pieces back 
• done :-)
