Convert Ender 3 S1 to COREXZ kinematics (deprecated)

I found corexz interesting, but also I wanted to improve print speed AND quality. This corexz achieved all for me.

and do you think this would be compatible with linear rails for both the x and z (like the gulf coast robotics rails) thanks and sorry for all the questions (edited)

@Amil_746526 I am not sure, the clearances are rather tight due to the odd placement and offset of various parts on the Ender 3 S1

hi i want to go as close the the switch wire as i can would this be close to compatible with other switch wire mods thanks for this amazing mod

@Amil_746526 Hey, I have designed all parts from the ground up as the Ender 3 S1 frame is rather odd regarding dimensions and offsets .. this is very specific to the Ender 3 S1. I have however published a V2.1 which is quite different. Maybe have a look at that instead.

How did you mount the x-axis limit switch? I am in the process of assembling now. I have watched your videos but haven't been able to tell how you have it attached. Thanks!

@himynamesjoel_796354 Hey, this project I am no longer supporting, there is a new version for the Ender 3 S1 Corexz - https://www.printables.com/model/492543-ender-3-s1-corexz-v21 (edited)

@VladimirKrsti_589001 Not likely, the Ender 3 S1 has strange aluminium extrusions, there are other Ender 3 Switchwire conversions you can use, should be a much better option. This is specific to the Ender 3 S1.

Hi.. I have the same printer, can I make this change without any reprogram the firmware? Thanks

@Sarmin_322067 No i'm afraid not, I am running klipper and configured it to use corexz kinematics.

Can you put an image of the 3d printer after the mod to show how it will look like in areas where the conversion took place and give us the links to where you got the GT2 belts etc. (especially because that you said that it made a difference in the squeaking noise in one of your videos.) Thanks, we would appreciate it.

@Somebody_384047 Added a bom.xlsx to the github repo in the description..

What an interesting project! I'm going to give this a try.
