I needed to make a ghost trap, but after printing and assembling 200+ parts for a pair of proton packs, I was willing to give-up some detail for lower parts count.
This trap looks pretty good and has working doors but only consists of six parts and takes about 15 minutes to assemble. The door hinges are held together with 3mm cap head screws (almost any length will do) and the panels are screwed to the body with whatever you have on-hand. The only part that requires glue is the handle and I'm working on some changes that might eliminate as well.
The only other hardware I used was a aircraft-style five-pin connector (a spare I had from the proton packs). This is threaded to the hole in the back of the body, and uses an old length of guitar cable for the cord.
This model was created with OpenSCAD. I'll be posting the OpenSCAD source once I get a chance to clean the code up a bit.
