A small clicking toy to help you relieve your stress.
It has a small window at the top so you can see the rotating gears inside.
How to print:
Orientate all parts flat on the bed (might need to rotate top cover).
Paint supports underneath the LEVER.
Activate the “Fill the voids with bridges” settings in Superslicer (Perimeters&Shell → Advanced → No perimeters on bridge areas)
Print at 0.2 or 0.3 layer height, 4 shells, 4top/3down layers, 20% infill
Assembly:
Start with bottom part
Insert the clicking bracket (if it doesn't have contact with thumbwheel, OR if it is holding the thumbwheel too strong, use lighter to heat it up a bit and bend the arms)
Put the thumbwheel inside
Now place both cogs on top, so the gear teeth meet properly
Insert the lever on the holding pin
Add top cover
Use 3x M3x10 screws and M3 nuts to secure the bottom and top case
I went to look inspiration at craiyon.com, by generating images for phrase “Mechanical gadget”, and I found one of the images cool.
Then made a simple sketch on paper, tried to model that in blender, and 5 prototypes later I had a clicking fidget toy!
