Concentrator nozzle for Conair Infiniti Pro hair dryer

Print with ABS (or probably PETG would work too). Because this part will get hot during use, the material must withstand higher temperatures.

0.2mm layer height

0.6mm nozzle

Print with brim to help with adhesion. Otherwise there's too little surface area and I had issues with the part falling off mid-print.

Description

This is a replacement concentrator/nozzle for the Conair Infiniti Pro hair dryer. It may fit other models too. The nozzle that comes with this clips on to the inner part of the hair dryer. This model, instead, makes a friction fit on the outside. It's a pretty snug fit, but if you really have can't get it on, you can try scaling the model by a few percent in your slicer.

The rectangular part is about 3" wide. The part that attaches to the hair dryer is just under 2". I tried another model that was 2" wide, but it was way too big for this hair dryer.

Design notes

This was modeled in FreeCad. It's just two sketches and an additive loft between them, then two more sketches with a subtractive loft. I've included the FreeCad file if you want to modify it to fit your hair dryer.
