I designed this case to provide both protection for the Basys 3 board and to eliminate handling the lead solder joints.
All of the I/O is easily accessible.
The base has four 3.5mm tall standoffs to allow room for the solder joints & pins on the bottom of the board. The holes in the standoffs are 2.7mm in diameter, meant to accommodate shorter 2.9mm diameter machine screws, however, screwing the board in isn't necessary given the snug fit; it's just an option if you like to be extra secure.
Additionally, I added some small indentations in the bottom of the case to accommodate the included rubber feet. If they don't stick, a drop of superglue goes a long way.
The lid is a snug fit, especially around the 12 pin connectors so just have a little patience when putting it on and everything will come together perfectly.
