why 36 sizes?

Because even such a little thing as a ring is based on international norms.

The size number of a ring is the circumference of the inside of the ring.

Just take your caliper and measure the size of a ring or the finger, left is the needed ring size number.

STEP

I added the step files so you can use and modify the model by your own, under the license of GNU v3.0.

Ready to slice 3mf files in high definition and high speed and fuzzy mode. 

Tips for slicing:

• split the imported STEP file into objects
• use random seam for the inner ring object
• use seam aligned for the outer ring object
• if your printer likes to string decrease the temperature and increase the retraction

This is 3 times the same model with the same filament, (prusa galaxy gray).

The first ring is printed in just 5 Minutes with a layer height of 0.48 mm.

The second is printed with a layerheigt of 0.12 mm and the 3. one the same but with fuzzy skin for the outermost perimeter.

The rings are build with an internal tolerance and should be printable without supports, brim, skirt, glue, etc. They can be printed with any material but all kinds of so called silk or blend may be smoother.
